Chemistry Education Research and Practice Article


In our groups' first foray into chemical education research, Stuart has teamed up with Dr Alex Bissember (University of Tasmania) and Dr Reyne Pullen (now UNSW) to investigate the design and implementation of a crtierion-based assessment model for first-year undergraduate laboratories.

This lab re-design has been implemented to good effect at a first year level at the University of Tasmania and the design and also feedback from students has been published in a recent article in Chemistry Education Research and Practice, published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
